To be 18 again... Lessons we've learnt

We all know the story of Peter Pan, Peter Pan wanted to be young forever but we all know that to be young is a season. Being a training provider, we interact with a diverse group of people from various walks of life. They've always got a wise story to tell so we posed the question to a few current trainees, asking them what they would do differently if they were 18 again...

"I would have been more persistent in challenging myself personally and professionally"

"I would of joined more sports clubs!"

"I would have balanced my social life as well as organised myself to take the necessary steps towards a successful career "

"I would remind myself to strive, to seek, to find and not to yield and not to wait on anyone but get things I desired on my own, after all If they can achieve it so can I"

"I would have done a accounting apprenticeship to get more work experience"

"I would travel a lot more"

"Considered my higher education options more carefully, I rushed into studying a degree at university which I didn't like and racked up unnecessary debt"

So there we go, I know we've definitely learnt a thing or two about taking the right choices to push yourself into being the best you, that you can be.

What would you do differently if you were 18 again?..
